Members – The 21 July Deadline has passed, and we have 107 paid players.  We will accept one more to make 108 for 27 foursomes. 

The Alphabetized roster is attached.  The foursomes are being made up now by the Tournament Committee.

Please read carefully the other two attachments “Conditions of the Competition” and “Conditions of Play at Admiral Baker Golf course.”  They explain all the Local Rules that are in effect and also explain how to handle any Rules questions. 

NOTE that since this is the Club Championship the very basic and Primary USGA Rule of Golf applies ” Play the course as you find it and play the ball as it lies.”  The “Tuesday Blitz Local Rule for the South Course” concerning bare spots does NOT apply in the Club Championship.  The USGA has ample allowance for truly “Abnormal Ground Condition” ( Rule 16) and you are asked to review that Rule.

Later this week all players will receive the foursome manning and the tee assignments.

Please show up EARLY on Tuesday and Check In at the Registration Desk.  There will be members who didn’t enter in time and who can fill in in case some entrants have some “Unexpected situations” that prevent them from playing.  IF a player is replaced by a paying entrant, his entry fee will be refunded.  If a player announces today or later that he cannot play he will get a refund only if we have a Standby ready to take his place.
