TOURNAMENT RULES

This is a 4-player Team Scramble with 1 flight.

  – Each player hits their shot from their assigned tee (shown on scorecard).

  – The team decides on the best shot to play and marks the spot.

  – From the selected shot, each player can place the ball within 6 inches, no closer to the hole.  If the selected ball is in the Green fringe, rough or a bunker, each player must play from the Green fringe, rough or bunker.

  – Once the ball has come to rest on the putting green, it must be marked and all 4 players putt from that marked position (the 6 inch length rule does not apply to the putting green).

* If a team has only 3 players, one player (in continuous rotation thru all 18 holes) will play 2 shots to take the place of the missing player.  The 3 players must rotate (each shot) ABC-ABC-etc equally taking turns hitting for the missing player.  3 player team handicap will be adjusted to 30% A + 25% B + 15% C.

For example on hole #1 the par 5:

On #1 tee box, Players A,B,C hit their tee shot, then player A hits another tee shot for player D

Next shot on fairway, Players A,B,C hit their shot, then player B hits another fairway shot for player D

Next shot on fairway, Players A,B,C hit their shot, then player C hits another fairway shot for player D

Next shot on putting green, Players A,B,C hit their putt, then player A hits another putt for player D

If another putt is needed on green, Players A,B,C hit their putt, then player B hits another putt for player D

On #2 tee box, the next player in rotation (C in this scenario) hits the player D tee shot.  NOT player A always hitting the player D on every tee box (continuous rotation thru all 18 holes).

The group must keep tract who hits the next shot for the missing player.

Good luck,

Your Tournament Committee
